Federating 100+ sources across seven jurisdictions
Surveillance
100+ sources and 20+ processes across seven countries on one platform, with location-based access to the row, and legacy systems switched off.
The engagement: existing, as built, in production
Existing
The challenge
A surveillance programme had to run across seven countries and dozens of teams: harmonising more than a hundred data sources, bringing teams worldwide onto one platform, and ensuring every team saw only the data its location permitted.
As built
What we built
- One Foundry system integrating 20+ processes and tools, consolidating the data sources and streamlining surveillance
- Location-based secure access, so each team sees only what is relevant and permitted to it
- Legacy systems retired as their processes moved onto the platform
In production
The impact
- Multiple legacy systems decommissioned, with operational savings estimated at about a million a year
- 20+ processes and tools integrated globally
- Surveillance streamlined, with secure, role-appropriate access throughout

The same problem elsewhere
The same federation applies to any monitoring programme that spans countries and systems: safety, compliance, quality, fraud, grid or network operations.
- Banking & capital markets
- Surveillance and compliance monitoring across jurisdictions, each with its own systems and access rules.
- Energy & utilities
- Grid and asset monitoring across regions, with operators seeing only their own territory.
- Logistics & transport
- Network and security monitoring across countries, with data residency rules per location.
- Public sector
- Monitoring programmes across agencies and regions where access must follow jurisdiction.
